The BTS Arena is the main sports hall of the city of Trento and is a multi-purpose facility used for sporting events and events. It is a modern indoor system, inaugurated in 2000, designed by the architect Renato Rizzi, and managed by ASIS.
It is known above all because it hosts the home games of important teams such as Trentino Volleyball and Aquila Basket Trento, becoming one of the benchmarks of professional sport in the city. There are 3882 seats plus 118 standing seats for sporting events and 4800 total seats (standing and sitting, including parterres) for events of a different nature. The parquet court is suitable for different sports, including volleyball, basketball, futsal, gymnastics and martial arts. It can also be used for concerts, cultural events and public events. Inside there are also dedicated gyms (weights, gymnastics and martial arts), changing rooms, infirmary, press room, bars and car parks. The facility is accessible and equipped to host large events with large audiences.
Where to park
The arena has three large free car parks. The largest is located in the south area, flanked by a second support car park. Finally, in the east there is a third car park, recently built, on the opposite side of Via Fersina and also equipped with a Bike-Box. Bicycles can be parked in the dedicated area in the south-east corner of the building.
Ticket office and entrances
The ticket office is located on the west side, in the cash register square, where pre-match and post-match activities take place. There are also entrances, respectively at the southwest and northwest corner. The ticket office opens an hour and a half before the start of the game. The Family entrance, dedicated to families with the ticket in Gradinata Family Conad, is located on the south side and is accessible from the crates square through the dedicated area. VIP access, and adjoining dedicated parking, are located on the northeast corner of the arena.
