A new concept of Church, where sacred work goes hand in hand with the faithful
The new parish church was built between 1938 and 1940 in a more central position than the old church of Sant'Osvaldo. The building dates back to 1938-1940, thanks to the generosity of the faithful and the diligence of the parish priest who, exhausted by the daily effort of carrying the stones on his back to build the church, died in 1940; a plaque near the entrance commemorates this heroic priest. After some necessary renovations, which have always maintained the simplicity of the external structure and its linear bell tower, the interior was completely redesigned in 2006.
An elliptical arrangement of the benches around the altar platform, the symbols of the stained glass windows and the new portal, the rethinking of the liturgical poles and the materials used are all attributable to a common thread made of symbols and references to the Christian Faith.
