CLOSED SKI LIFT UNTIL NEXT WINTER SEASON 2024-2025
The two historic slopes - Fortino and Rocce Rosse - form the Gran Pista, the longest slope on Monte Bondone: a descent of over 3.5 km (3,550 m), with a difference in altitude of about 800 m, served by a single system, the Rocce Rosse, with 4 seats, with a cabin that can be closed in case of wind or low temperatures.
The fast ascent of 7'43'' of the four-seater chairlift takes the skier from the town of Mezavia (Candriai), about 1200 m above sea level, up to 1998 m. From there you can walk either the Gran Pista returning to Mezavia or the Canalon (Palon Pista) to descend to Vason and from there walk the lowest slopes as an altitude of our ski area. The Gran Pista and the Palon/Canalon are the most challenging slopes in the ski area, also featuring significant changes in altitude. The Gran Pista is panoramic and offers skis in silence with passages in the middle of fir, larch and birch forests.
Strengths
Length and width of the track, high level of competition and not, different slopes, parking at the start and in the middle of the track (where there is also the Red Rocks Chalet skibar), the silence of some passages through the woods.
