Orologeria Groppa is a historic watchmaking shop located in the heart of Trento's historic centre, in Via degli Orbi. Active since 1937, it is one of the most deeply rooted artisan companies in the city, appreciated for its long experience in the sale and repair of watches of all kinds.

The shop was founded when Milziade Groppa, a passionate craftsman, began working as a repairman of watches, gramophones and cameras, and then opened the business that still bears his name today. The company was then run by his sons Mariano and Giorgio and now also sees the new generation involved, with the apprentice watchmaker Giacomo.

Inside the store is a versatile selection of watches — wrist, pocket, wall, antique pendulums and traditional Black Forest cuckoos — along with a wide range of straps in different sizes, materials and colours.

In addition to the sale, another strong point is the artisan repair workshop, where watchmakers provide expertise and tools to repair mechanical and quartz watches, replace batteries and parts, and work on historical or family pieces with great care.

Thanks to its central location, decades-long tradition and professional expertise, Orologeria Groppa is an ideal place for those looking for specialist assistance, unique pieces or competent advice in the world of classic and contemporary watchmaking.
