Culture, exhibitions, and art / May 14, 2026 · Trento
From May to October 2026 at the Diocesan Museum of Trento.
A journey through five centuries of history and rediscover Trentino in the heart of Europe through a new look, which intertwines music, anthropology and art history.
The Time of a Dialogue is a cycle of meetings that transforms scientific research into a living experience, intertwining anthropology, musical dissemination and art history to tell, in a new and accessible way, the centuries from the sixteenth to the twentieth.
Led by the cultural anthropologist Marta Villa and the musician and popularizer Carlo Centemeri, the events are configured as real performative dialogues, in which works of art, sounds and narratives return atmospheres, emotions and transformations of distant eras but still present in our daily lives.
They are joined by art historians Domizio Cattoi, director of the Museo Diocesano Tridentino, and Caterina Floriani, who enrich each encounter with perspectives related to works preserved in the museum and on the territory, often little known and to be rediscovered.
Each meeting is designed to engage the public directly, stimulating curiosity, participation and new interpretations of the past.
The project also brings the dialogues to the Trentino valleys: the meetings on the territory will see the participation of experts from the Italian Environmental Fund, with the aim of enhancing the historical and cultural heritage of the different provincial communities.
