The opening of the retrospective dedicated to Maria Giovanna Speranza "Oltre il tempo", curated by the artist's daughter Viviana Puecher, is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 5:30 pm.
For the occasion, Marco Meneghini will lead the audience in a fascinating interweaving of literature and visual art, starting with the American work "L 'ultimo dei Mohicani", whose bicentenary commemorates the publication.
The text will be put in direct relation with some paintings by the artist Maria Giovanna Speranza.
An evocative dialogue between the American frontiers of the novel and the pictorial visions of Hope, for an immersive experience not to be missed.
A special and little-known gem will be the story of the famous writer's trip to Trentino, with a stop in Trento.
The exhibition is set up as a real journey through time. The rooms will welcome an intimate dialogue between recent and distant works, tracing a thread that traces the entire evolution of his career.
It will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in that academic and traditional style that has made her famous: a unique, rigorous and yet vibrant pictorial figure, thanks to which the artist has been able to cross national borders, exhibiting successfully in prestigious galleries in California, Hollywood, Santa Barbara and Pasadena.
The exhibition, held under the patronage of the Municipality, can be visited until Monday 5 October 2026 from 10 am to 12 noon and from 4 pm to 7 pm, closed on Wednesdays.
