June 9, 2026 · Trento
On the evening of June 9, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., Euregio Klassika, in collaboration with the Museo del Castello del Buonconsiglio, staged the show I Giorni di Napoli.
The show will take place in the Sala Gerola of the Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento: a performance that intertwines written word, lyric voice and piano in an intimate and universal story about Naples, Vincenzo Bellini and the power of memory.
Three exceptional artists — the writer Maurizio de Giovanni, the pianist Francesco Nicolosi and the soprano Juliette Di Bello — come together for an experience that crosses the boundaries of genres and disciplines.
A project born from the encounter between literature and music
The days of Naples stems from a simple and at the same time dizzying question: what remains of Naples in those who have really lived it?
The answer that Maurizio de Giovanni has found is not an essay, it is not a historical novel. It is an imaginary letter — the one that a young Vincenzo Bellini could have written to a trusted friend to say what music, alone, fails to express: pain, love, death, wonder.
