The 21st International Organ Festival of the city of Trento will start from Sunday 12 April to Thursday 10 October 2026.
The "Città di Trento" International Organ Festival invites you to rediscover the pipe organ in a new key, overcoming stereotypes and prejudices that want it to be a distant instrument linked only to tradition.
Through a rich programme of concerts between April and May, the festival offers a surprising musical journey, capable of combining tradition and innovation, involving both fans and a new and curious audience. Young talents, live improvisations, contamination with other musical instruments and languages – from silent cinema to electronic music – show all the expressive potential of the organ, an extraordinarily versatile instrument.
The performances take place in some of the most evocative places in Trento, offering unique experiences: from live soundtracks of films to unprecedented performances that combine the organ with unusual instruments, to encounters between music and the visual arts.
The festival thus celebrates a living and constantly evolving musical heritage, still capable of exciting, surprising and dialoguing with the present.
