On Sunday, March 8, 2026, the archaeological sites of Roman Trento, the Underground Archaeological Space of Sas, in Piazza Cesare Battisti, and the Villa di Orfeo, in Via Rosmini celebrate International Women's Day with the adhesion to the initiative of the Ministry of Culture that provides free entry for all women to places of culture. The sites, which can be visited from 9-13/14- 17.30, in addition to preserving the testimonies of the ancient city, host the exhibition "The colours of Tridentum.

Decoration and furnishings in the Roman city " which offers visitors a new vision of the city founded by the Romans on the banks of the river Adige. Mosaics, frescoes and marble finds exhibited for  the first time to the public lead to the discovery of the colours that embellished the private and public spaces of Trento two thousand years ago.

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10.30 and 15.30 with a meeting at the Villa di Orfeo, the guided tours "Stories and crafts of the women of Tridentum": an expert from the Educational Services of the Provincial Archaeological Heritage Office will lead the participants to discover the customs and customs of the women of Roman Trento, from the Villa di Orfeo to the Underground Archaeological Space of Sas.
