"I present you the work" is an initiative of the museum designed to enhance and make known its heritage: every second Wednesday of the month, at 5:30 pm, a work is presented to the public, in a relaxed atmosphere, which will be exhibited for the following weeks in the Bishops' Hall. A unique opportunity to discover some of the most fascinating objects and works of art in the museum's heritage.
A meeting dedicated to the dialogue between ancient and contemporary technology will be held on Wednesday 11 March. Denis Ton, curator of the museum, will lead the audience in a surprising comparison that begins with a small but precious object in the collections: the Bell of Canon Gerolamo Roccabruna, attributed to the sculptors Vincenzo Grandi and Gian Gerolamo Grandi. An exceptional guest of this event will be Matteo Perini, engineer in charge of the Additive Manufacturing department of the ProM Facility of Trentino Sviluppo, creator of the 3D printing of the artifact.
An opportunity to discover how new technologies can dialogue with the historical-artistic heritage, offering innovative tools for its enhancement and conservation, and to stimulate reflections on the opportunities and challenges that this interaction can generate.
