The free event "Genoma Musicale" will be held on Thursday 5 September 2024 at the MUSE, Science Museum of Trento.

Musicality is part of people's lives: sometimes it is perceived as innate, others as the result of acquired knowledge. But why do we live, create and interact with music in different ways? What determines the variations in rhythmic ability, pleasure, and emotions we experience when listening to music? We discuss it in a meeting to deepen the genomic basis of musicality and the effects on people's health and well-being with Reyna Gordon, associate professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (USA) and Giacomo Bignardi, PhD of the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics (NL)
