The presentation of the book "Il mio maso di montagna" (My mountain farm) took place on the evening of Wednesday 13 September 2023 at the Hotel Montana sul Monte Bondone
"My mountain farm is a heartfelt book, written by Vea Carpi who lives permanently with his family at Mas del Saro, in Val dei Mocheni.
The peculiarity of his cuisine is the strong seasonality, and the predilection for the zero kilometre: all the recipes start from the ingredients he grows in the farm garden.
During the hot season, it offers tempting delicacies such as basil pancakes and root carpaccio. In the cold months, thanks to its well-stocked pantry, Vea suggests rich flavours such as black cabbage kimchi and pumpkin puddings. But a well-stocked pantry is not just a matter of ingredients, but of spirit, of mood, of ancient know-how!"
