Saturday 7 February 2026 at the Teatro Auditorium Santa Chiara in Trento.
After the great success obtained a few weeks ago with the Drusilla Foer show, the new AudiPop Season curated by the S. Chiara Cultural Services Centre in Trento continues bringing to Trento a leading figure in Italian comedy such as Jerry Calà.
On Saturday, February 7, at 8:30 pm, the S. Chiara Auditorium in Trento will host one of the most famous and popular figures in Italian entertainment with No sono bello... gusto!, his new exciting show that traces over 50 years of career.
With irony and lightheartedness Jerry Calà knows how to unleash his audience, he has done it everywhere in Italy and continues to do so today involving several generations. Even in Trento, what will warm the heart will be the two hours of dense entertainment during which the Veronese showman will not spare himself for his audience. A show that describes a story that has written some pages of the Cinema della comedia all 'Italiana, produced by The Best Organization Management.
Both as a teenager as a cabaret actor, musician and singer, and as a protagonist in the cinema, Jerry Calà's life has always been accompanied by beautiful songs that have been the soundtrack to his shows, starting from the dawn with the group of Gatti di Vicolo Miracoli, continuing his artistic career with the films that relaunched old successes of the 60s and 70s and of course the 80s. Who better than him, then, to tell the story of Italian music from the sixties to the present day.
Thus the actor, through irresistible tales of life lived, funny gags and unforgettable songs, will engage the audience by overwhelming them for two hours of great fun. From the years of the cabaret in which, with the Gatti, he performed at the Derby Club in Milan under the influence of Cochi and Renato and the first musical successes such as "Prova" and "Capitooooo!" and all his tormenting phrases became part of our daily life. The show will continue with a tribute to the biggest names in Italian music: from Franco Califano to Enzo Jannacci to Pooh, remembered among the notes of an exciting amarcord that does not fail to receive acclaim from critics and the public.
It starts again with the cinema and the over 50 films that see Jerry Calà as the protagonist, collecting almost entirely a great success. From "Taste of the Sea" by Vanzina it even becomes the engine of the relaunch of the music of the 60s; a revival that, since the release of that film, has never ended, so much so that today the boys, even very young, sing songs from fortyyears ago from memory; a real miracle, as well as the soundtrack of "Christmas Holidays", the first true Pancake Cinema that launched songs of disco music of the 80s that became hits, such as "I like Chopin", and in particular "Maracaibo", which Jerry aka Billo sang at the piano bar and later became one of his greatest workhorses. Jerry Calà, singing them in his films, has managed to make these songs a bit his own, and he enjoys re-proposing them by dominating the stage with his skillful skills, in the style of the famous American "One Man Show", accompanied by a live big band and a maxi screen behind him that takes the viewer on a journey back in time.
What is the strength of the show? Surely the right mix of music, comedy and audience involvement that Jerry Calà, as a skilled crooner and entertainer, manages to mix with his effervescent humor that is always current. Because Jerry has fun, everyone has fun.
