There’s a unicorn in town

Two days of community, inclusion, culture and outdoor fun: the Duca d 'Aosta Park is preparing to host the fourth edition of the San Pio X district festival "There is a unicorn in the city". Led by the unicorn, symbol of the district, and promoted by the San Pio X District Association together with a rich network of local realities, schools and associations, the event will transform the entire area of the park into a living and open space of sociality, creativity and participation.

Below is the program:

Saturday 19 September – Art, sport, dialogue and shows

• 9:00 – Good morning Pilates with Studio J Pilates.
• 9:30 – Inauguration of ADArte Trenino's multi-material exhibition.
• 10:00 – Press review with Laura Galassi and Gigi Zoppello, followed by a brioche offered by Panificio Dalprà.
• From 10:00 – Green Volleyball "X UnicornCup" amateur tournament.
• From 10:00 – Football-tennis for boys with Kambeng Kafoo and circus juggling workshops with Zefiro.
• 11:00 – Inauguration of the bookcrossing house "Books with wings".
• 14:00 – Tangram Art Workshop with Andromeda Art Studio and Henna Art.
• 15:00 – Introduction to Levantine Arabic with Noor Ismail.
• Lunch – "Pic-niX of the unicorn", picnic open to the whole community.
• Afternoon – Music workshop with Il Diapason, circus show "Baracca JukeBox" with Soap Bubble and workshop "Fishing your story" with GLOW ETS.
• 17:00 – Rugby Open with Rugby Trento.
• Afternoon – Round table "Nearby communities. Let's make space!" dedicated to the spaces of the neighborhood.
• All day long – San Pio X on the beach, "Il piccolo Bazaar degli Unicorni" reuse market, ICTrento 3 stand, interactive map, Peaches of Fortune and AssoPioX beverage stand.
• From 18:00 – Latin gastronomic offerings by ChocoFragola, music and live concerts by NO EXPECTATIONS! and IF SARA WAVES UP.
• Evening – Light installation by Mariano Detassis.

Sunday 20 September – environment and community

• 10:00 – Walk Of Butts: Ecological walk to the Duca d 'Aosta Garden, the Casoni and surrounding areas to collect abandoned waste and recycle butts in collaboration with Re-Cig Srl. Initiative promoted by Associazione Quartiere San Pio X with the partners of the Collaboration Pact and WeInk Social Lab APS.
