A short walk that joins two sanctuaries into a single route, but at the same time allows you to explore the most historic street of the village of Montagnaga, then enjoy a breathtaking view at the Sanctuary of the Redeemer.
Two sanctuaries, one street, the most historic of Montagnaga, these are the key ingredients for this simple but evocative walk. A linear route that follows entirely via Domenica Targa, dedicated to the humble shepherdess to whom the Madonna appeared no less than 5 times between 1729 and 1730.
Crossing the village, you reach the Sanctuary of the Redeemer where the view is nothing short of stunning and overlooks the Valsugana to then observe in the distance the mountains that shelter the Trentino capital. Next to the Sanctuary of the Redeemer it is advisable to also visit the adjacent meadow, as well as the evocative basin of the "Comparsa" with the bronze monument that recalls the episode of the first apparition. It is a place very visited in every season of the year, evocative both for the surrounding woods and the atmosphere of silence and peace that can be breathed there.
Refreshment points at the restaurant/bar at Posta Hotel, at the pizzeria Birrificio Comparsa, and the pizzeria and brew pub Lanterna.
