A short walk in the recently upgraded recreational area of Bedolpian, reaching through green meadows and ancient pine forests the Laghetto delle Rane, the viewpoint over the Valle di Cembra and the Brenta group called the "Bellavista".
The loop, which can be traveled in both directions, is very pleasant for the moderate duration and the scenery it sets in: an ancient pine forest with century-old trees not far from the town of Baselga, now partly rehabilitated after the Vaia storm with wide expanses of green meadows and broad well-trodden forest roads, optimal for walking, biking or with a trekking stroller.
The Laghetto delle Rane, also restored after the storm, has a wooden pier from which you can observe species of aquatic insects, some small fish and at the right time tadpoles, which will one day become frogs, from which the name of this particular body of water derives. With a small and absolutely recommended detour you reach the Bellavista panoramic balcony where it is possible to sit for a break and enjoy the view over the Valle di Cembra and the Brenta Dolomites, then continue the loop back to the starting point.
Bedolpian is an area much loved by families, ideal for picnics and nature outings, therefore it is recommended to bring a blanket to sit and relax on the grass. On hot summer days it is possible to find some coolness by entering the remaining pine forest.
The area is also a starting point for longer hikes. It is indeed possible to start the connection to Monte Ceramont or continue after the Bellavista to the village of Tressilla.
At the parking lot at the starting point is "La Capannina", a facility managed by local associations usually in the summer period with bar and food service.
