Tuesday 31 March 2026 at the Chiesa di San Francesco Xavier
On the occasion of Easter 2026, Euregio Klassika presents a musical event of great spiritual and artistic intensity, "Resurrexit Lux", a concert dedicated to the light of the Resurrection through the highest pages of the European sacred tradition.
The artistic director Maestro Maurizio Colasanti highlights how: "The program crosses centuries of music and spirituality, bringing together masterpieces by composers who have been able to translate the Easter mystery and the sense of rebirth that it brings with it into sound. Music by Georg Friedrich Händel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonio Vivaldi, Tomaso Albinoni, Johann Sebastian Bach and Giovanni Battista Pergolesi will be performed: authors who, each with their own language, have given voice to the highest dimension of faith, hope and contemplation".
The protagonist of the evening will be the Euregio Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Tadeusz Wicherek, an internationally renowned musician who during his career has led some of the most important orchestras on the world scene, distinguished by the depth of interpretation and the ability to combine stylistic rigor and intense expressiveness.
Next to the orchestra will be the soprano Jiyoung Seo, a young Korean artist with a luminous career, appreciated for the purity of his timbre and for his extraordinary musical sensitivity. His voice, intense and refined, will be the guiding thread of a musical path that leads the listener from meditation to hope, from the twilight of the Passion to the light of the Resurrection.
"Resurrexit Lux" is not only a concert, but a musical and spiritual experience that invites the audience to rediscover, through the universal language of music, the deepest meaning of Easter: the victory of light over darkness, of life over death, of hope over silence.
With this proposal of great symbolic and artistic value, Euregio Klassika renews its commitment to offer the community moments capable of combining beauty, reflection and sharing, in the sign of a 2026 Season that continues to celebrate music as a living and universal heritage.
