Adventurous excursion that from Passo Cimirlo reaches the World War I military positions of Monte Chegul, then descends towards the woods that shelter Rifugio Maranza, with a subsequent return to Cimirlo.
The route starts from Passo Cimirlo and progressively develops around the eastern slope of Marzola, then reaches the "Stoi del Chegul", as well as military positions built during World War I on Monte Chegul above the city of Trento, part of the "fortress of Trento" defensive system and an important historical testimony, from which it is possible to admire some evocative views of the Valsugana. The trail gradually descends in elevation reaching Rifugio Maranza, whose namesake road allows you to return to the starting point, therefore Passo Cimirlo.
Since the bike route develops in the vegetation of the western woods of Marzola and before returning to Passo Cimirlo, there is a stop at Rifugio Maranza, this could be an excellent refreshment point to admire the surrounding territory, taste and sip in complete tranquility the flavors of Trentino tradition and why not also try some novelties!
