The main lake of the municipality of Baselga di Piné is swimmable and perfect for families. A convenient path connects it to the plateau's other lake, Lake Piazze.
Imagine going on holiday on the shores of a bathing lake, suitable for the whole family and where you can do many different activities: picnics, walks, trekking, horse riding, mountain biking, sport fishing, pedal boats, canoeing. Are you an adventurous guy? Imagine that on the same waters you can also practice the dragon boat by paddling on original boats with the head and tail of a dragon, or dabble in paddle boarding or kayaking. This place really exists: it is Lake Serraia, the main body of water of the Municipality of Baselga di Piné. It is located 974 metres above sea level and is surrounded by forests, reeds and meadows, as well as embraced by a convenient path that connects it to the plateau's other bathing lake, Lake Piazze. To walk the famous "tour of the lakes of the Plateau" (about 4 km only the Serraia lake and 12 km both lakes), you can start from the car parks in Lido, Alberon, or the ones in via Doss de la Creda. Along the lakes, there are many playgrounds for children and food and wine spots to taste excellent artisan ice creams, tasty zero-km dishes and delicious evening aperitifs.
