A "cool" trekking just a short distance from the city, at the foot of the Marzola
A route that runs along the western slopes of Mount Marzola of Villazzano or South Marzola and allows you to connect the two historic refuges of Trento. The ascent has a constant slope, easy for the trained hiker, challenging for families. The panorama enjoyed at the Prati dei Bindesi refuge is truly extensive and merits a stop at the terrace. The dense vegetation allows you to ascend while remaining almost always in the shade, making the excursion pleasant even on hot days. A moment of relaxation in the large meadow of the Maranza refuge is a must.
The Maranza refuge is also the end point of a nice mountain bike route coming from Passo Cimirlo, above Povo.
